Looking for "Mechanical Maintenance Manager" for an IPP based in
Faisalabad (IPP Site Based).
Main Responsibilities
·       Plan, lead and manage daily Mechanical Maintenance activities at the HFO based Engine Power Plant and assigned team.
·       Ensure that the performance targets of the plant are reached according to the contract in own responsibility area.
·       Ensure competent resources and competence development of the mechanical resources and assigned team.
·       Ensure that the condition of the plant and equipment is according to applicable guidelines and policies and take corrective actions when needed.
·       Ensure that the work is executed at plant according to Company’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures as well as assigned maintenance plan.
·       Implement Contract Management action plans, processes and guidelines in the assigned responsibility area.
·       Prepare maintenance reports, Mechanical Maintenance plan including spares forecast and budget as instructed by the Agreement Manager within specified time.
·       Identify and actively seek to improve operational reliability and availability of the plant.
·       Follow-up and optimize the maintenance costs of the plant.
·       Develop the Mechanical Maintenance working routines at the plant.
·       Maintain good internal and external stakeholder relationships.
·       Negotiate and purchase materials and services for maintenance according to the plan.
·       Approve maintenance time schedule taken into consideration operational requirements of the plant.
·       Perform the Risk Assessment prior to start any maintenance work.
·       To follow up the maintenance tools, ensure the measuring tools are calibrated with maintenance team.
·       Observe & ensure each employee using the PPE's.
·       Review the work progress at the end of the day & ensure the progress is as per plan and ensure zero rework.
·       Apply trouble shooting skills to solve O&M problems.
·       Read and circulate Technical bulletins, safety and quality flashes to enhance the knowledge and share with team.
·       Ensure the implementation of Technical bulletins at site within specified timeline.
·       Perform other tasks as assigned by Agreement Manager from time to time.
You will shine in this role when you have:
BSC Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine educational background with Power Plant experience.
Minimum 10 years of HFO based Engine Power Plant experience with minimum 5 years in Managerial role.
Experience requirement in Engine based HFO power plant and its auxiliaries is a must.
Prior experience of Company W46 engine is an advantage.
Experience of working with MAXIMO or equivalent for maintenance management will be a plus.
